President Evgeny Shevchuk held a meeting with the Russian politician and scientist Sergey Baburin

During the meeting, they talked about the current social and economic situation in Pridnestrovie

Evgeny Shevchuk met with the president of the "Russian Public Union" political party, the Russian politician and scientist, the history of state and law expert. Sergey Baburin arrived in Pridnestrovie with the group of scientists from the educational institutions of the Law Schools Association to participate in the international seminar "Yakovlev readings: traditions and innovations in the modern law system".

The foreign negative pressure on the republic's economy was also discussed at the meeting. They also noted the future development of the scientific and educational spheres in Pridnestrovie. "The professors of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy, the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and some other educational institutions became the part of our delegation. Each of us plans to make reports for the Pridnestrovie's students and the academic community. I hope that the Russian scientists participating in this conference will make a contribution to the scientific and educational spheres of Pridnestrovie," Sergey Baburin noted.

The President's Press Office reports, the international  academic conference is dedicated to the memory of the Doctor of Juridical Science, the professor, the Russia's honored worker of science, the honored lawyer of the MSSR, the member of the International Slavic Academy of Sciences, Education, Arts and Culture, the first president of Pridnestrovie's Shevchenko State University Vasily Nikitovich Yakovlev. The conference will be held in the PSU during February 12-13. Within action It is planned to discuss the current problems of the constitutional, civil and administrative rights.
