This is his first visit to Pridnestrovie. The purpose is to find out more about the current situation in the republic, the President’s Press Office reports.
The President told to the foreign diplomat about the economic and social situation in the republic during the meeting. The parties discussed the questions concerning the enhancing cooperation between two states. During the conversation, they also paid attention to the topical issues concerning the process of the Moldova-Pridnestrovie relations settling. «We do our best to keep peace in Pridnestrovie. We take into account the necessity to build good-neighbourship with Moldova and take part in the negotiations. By the way, their potential capacity is seriously limited by the pressure measures of our partners from Moldava," the President emphasized.
