Memorandums signed within the Shevchuk-Rogozin Protocol set the tone for the cooperation
The Pridnestrovie’s Foreign Ministry holds the reporting collegium of department on the eve of the professional holiday today, i.e. the Day of the diplomatic worker.
The Head of State Evgeny Shevchuk and the Prime Minister Tatyana Turanskaya took part in the event.
The Deputy Prime Minister on the International Cooperation, the Foreign Affairs Minister Nina Shtanski noted in her report that 2014 had been especially successful in terms of relations improvement with the Russian Federation.
The head of the MFA reminded that the social facilities are intensively constructed by the ANO «Eurasian integration» in Pridnestrovie today, and also that the Russia’s and Pridnestrovie’s state authorities signed 15 interdepartmental cooperation memoranda last year.
Besides, the Foreign Minister emphasized the achievements in regard to the consular service of Pridnestrovie’s citizens. So, after a 4-year pause a simplified order of awarding the Russian citizenship to the residents of Pridnestrovie born till December, 1991 was resumed. Besides, the citizenship on children can be issued in the affiliated Consular Department in Tiraspol now. To do this earlier people had to go to Kishinev.
«The Embassy of the Russian Federation in RM issued 32 thousand Russian passports only during the last year. Three fourths of this amount falls to the Pridnestrovie’s share," Nina Shtanski reported.
