The head of the Pridnstrovie’s delegation Oleg Belyakov hoped that soon it would be possible to adopt the agenda at the commission’s meeting
“A certain compromise and advance was outlined within the today's meeting of the Joint Control Commission. Of course, the representatives of the Russian Federation had a special role in this. They made the offers aimed at the Joint Control Commission’s work unblocking. These rather vital offers can be taken as the basis for the further JCC’s work and the meetings agenda adoption,” Oleg Belyakov noted.
At the same time, there were 33 Security Zone situation reports during the JCC blockade period, notably that the parties didn't consider the questions concerning the search-and-disposal of the ammunition during the year.
“We can't analyse the traffic of this weapon for the whole year, i.e. where the ammunition is. Was it destroyed or not? A certain analysis is carried out there, it should be characterized by the Joint Control Commission,” Oleg Belyakov summarized.
