Unstable exchange rate of the Russian ruble aggravates the Pridnestrovie’s economic agents’ activity

Evgeny Shevchuk told this during the live program of Radio-1

The President reminded that all products made in Pridnestrovie are marketable abroad.

“The domestic market isn’t large and it doesn't require all the output due to the rather small size of the state. The Unstable exchange rate of the Russian ruble has resulted in the transactions losses for our economic agents, and their income decreased also. Some of them have ceased trading at all,” Evgeny Shevchuk told.

He reminded that Ukraine had stopped buying Pridnestrovie’s goods due to the difficult situation there.

“Moldova has never bought anything made in Pridnestrovie. As for the European Union, there is also downward dynamics. These three markets (of Russia, Ukraine and the EU) suffer the crisis that will affect the Pridnestrovie’s economy in 2015,” the Head of State concluded.
