Elektromash planning to increase supplies to Russia

To this end, the plant has got audited in the system of Gazprom and Transneft

The matter concerns the accreditation which lifts barriers imposed by Russia on other foreign companies.

"We know the Gazprom system pursues the policy of import replacement: imported engines which have expired are replaced with Russian-made engines. Since we are certified in this system, we have the opportunity to get large orders," the head of the Elektromash marketing department, Svetlana Kot, said in an interview to Pridnestrovie's First Channel.

After getting audited the first four large engines of up to 12 tonnes each are to be supplied to the Russian oilers. These orders are very important for the plant as Elektromash is working now on the brink of "breaking even", and traditionally about 80 % of its production goes to Russia.
