Transportation and Road Facilities State Agency proposes to adopt Convention on International Civil Aviation

Since 1944 this document has been ratified by 188 states, including Russia

The experts of the State Agency for Transportation and Road Facilities prepared a draft of the Government's Decree "On the Supreme Council's Draft Decree "On the Recognition of Framework Rights in Pridnestrovie's Territory of the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944 and the Convention on the International Recognition of Rights in Aircraft of 1948."

According to the head of the cargo and passenger transportation department, Dmitriy Lungu, the Convention on International Civil Aviation has been ratified by 188 states, including Russia. This document contains 19 annexes, among which are "Rules of the Air", "Operation of Aircraft", "Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation", "The Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air".

As the Agency's press service reports, the main goals and tasks of the document are to provide safe and ordered development of civil aviation throughout the world, to favour the art of aircraft construction  and operation , to create and develop air routes, airports and aeronautical facilities for international civil aviation.

The Convention on the International Recognition of Rights in Aircraft has been ratified by 85 states. It provides real mechanisms of protecting the creditor's rights if the debtor fails to abide by financial obligations.

According to the experts, the ratification of these documents by the Supreme Council will enlarge the republic's legislative framework in the sphere of aviation and give rise to the development of this sector.
