President holds Security Council's meeting

Today, Yevgeniy Shevchuk has presided over the Security Council's meeting, reports the President's press service. During the meeting issues related to the provision and maintenance of economic and military security were discussed.

It was stated that "all the governance tools function in a routine mode." The President called attention to the strengthening of information pressure on Pridnestrovie, which contributes to the public tensions. The head of state specially underscored: "Pridnestrovie has never attacked any other state. We are not preparing to attack our neighbours." The President urged the citizens of Pridnestrovie to be careful about any kind of "stove piping".

"We are ready to resist any aggression. This is our power structures' daily routine.Military training goes on a regular, scheduled basis," said the head of state.
