A supposed attack by Pridnestrovie is being announced to local residents living in Ukraine's border territory
The KGB's official web site reports that "in the past several days unknown persons have being organizing actions destabilizing the situation in Ukraine's territory bordering Pridnestrovie."
In particular, these persons, riding in automobiles, are informing the residents in Ukraine's border area of a supposed armed attack by Pridnestrovie during the period from 30 July to 2 August.
"The KGB states that such insinuations are groundless as Pridnestrovie has no aggressive ambitions in any respect," says the report.
Pridnestrovie's KGB intends to investigate the provocations and reveal persons and forces behind the actions aimed at undermining the state security.
