Tiraspol, October 31. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexandr Stetsiuk and Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Antti Karttunen.
Parties discussed issues connected with preparations for the Conference on Confidence-Building Measures, which would be held in Bavaria on November 4-5, the Ministry press service reports.
Alexandr Stetsiuk emphasized that it was important to ensure equal opportunities for the parties to express their positions in the framework of expert discussions. He also noted the demand for the active participation of invited experts in each panel session at the conference.
At the conversation, diplomats paid attention to the implementation of some project initiatives with the assistance of the OSCE. In particular, they discussed a project to export pesticides from the Pridnestrovie.
