An apartment building was opened for new settlers - the second example of the implementation of the Pridnestrovian state program of affordable housing in Bendery. In September, the keys were handed over to the military personnel and representatives of other budgetary spheres in Tiraspol. Today, festive fanfare sounded in Protyagailovskaya Street in Bendery. House number 2 (the former building of the hostel of the medical school) consists of 39 one-, two- and three-room apartments with a total area of more than two thousand square meters. Among the new settlers there are not only state employees, but also six orphans. Vadim Krasnoselsky, addressing the owners of the treasured square meters of their own living space during the ceremony of putting the facility into operation, emphasized that it is very important that the state thinks about the social protection of citizens.
Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the presidential program works throughout the republic. In total, it is planned to put into operation 621 apartments by 2021. Residential buildings that have replaced long-term construction will welcome new settlers not only in Tiraspol and Bendery, but also in Grigoriopol, Slobodzeya, Rybnitsa, and Dnestrovsk. The cooperatives have been created everywhere, construction work is at the final stage at most facilities. At the level of the country's leadership, work is underway to launch an effective mechanism for the development of public sector employees with the assistance of the state of the secondary housing market. The legislative base of the system of subsidies and mortgages is being prepared. The possibility of redevelopment of idle administrative buildings and their transfer to housing is being studied. Providing citizens with their own housing is one of the most important factors encouraging Pridnestrovians to stay at home, live and work here, raise children, develop the economy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky considers.
A new residential building is a gift to Bendery for the citywide holiday (Bendery celebrates the 611th anniversary of the first mention). Design and construction works were carried out by urban. The President emphasized that the implementation of two state programs - capital investments and affordable housing - gave a new impetus to the development of the republic’s construction industry, providing Pridnestrovians with jobs. Inspecting the premises, Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the convenience of the layout of the apartments and noted the fact that those that are intended for orphans are already equipped with bathroom equipment and gas stoves.
The PMR President congratulated the owners of apartments on the significant event, and all residents of Bendery on the city holiday, emphasizing that the city is a common house, and it is necessary to equip it with joint efforts.
