Tiraspol, June 5. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. «Marka Pridnestrovya» Publishing House released a new series of stamps «Famous people». One of the stamps is devoted to the 220 anniversary since the birth of A.S. Pushkin. Here the portrait of the famous Russian classic against the background of fantastic motive is represented.
The presentation of the stamp and envelope will take place tomorrow, on June 6, at 10:00 in A.S. Pushkin Central City Library, it is reported on the website of the State Service for Mass Media.
From 12:00 till 13:00 at Tiraspol Central Post Office realization of a new series of stamps will take place. Except for Pushkin's anniversary, the stamps are devoted to the 150 anniversary since the birth of G.P. Stamatov, to the 125 anniversary since the birth of P.L. Kapitsa and to the 100 anniversary since the birth of N.S. Aronetskaya. Circulation of each stamp is 7 thousand pieces.
Let's note that after the presentation of post signs in the library there will take place the Pushkin holiday of poetry «The great poet of great Russia». Pushkin day will be organized also in Bendery. In the program there are poetry reading competition, exhibitions, quizzes, master classes, flash mobs and photo zones.
