Tiraspol, May 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev commented on legal aspects of the situation around Varnita. For the solution of the current problems, residents of the village have no need to address to Protyagailovca Village Council. At the same time Bendery utility companies will further serve the village, the First Pridnestrovian Channel reports.
Let's remind that by the presidential decree of January 25, 2019, it was defined that in Varnita, located in the territory, temporarily controlled by Moldova, where no council of national deputies or head of village administration were elected, their functions are implemented by Protyagailovca village council of national deputies and its administration. On May 13 this decree was repealed.
«On Monday I informed all participants of the negotiation process that there were no need for this decision because from the technical point of view there were no need for service of the Pridnestrovie citizens living in Varnita through Protyagailovca administration. But we see incorrect interpretations of this decision in some media», - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev commented.
«According to the Constitution Varnita is an integral part of Pridnestrovie. And, of course, interests of people will also be promoted properly», - he told.
