The republic’s leadership seeks to make Pridnestrovie more attractive, so that people have reliable information about the state, and “not distorted - all sorts of horror stories about armed people, tanks and aircrafts,” the President said on the First Pridnestrovian TV channel.
“This is a lie that is being spread by those who benefit from presenting Pridnestrovie in an unattractive manner. Pridnestrovie is a democratic state. We have created all the institutions, we respect human rights, and most importantly, we think about a person. The Pridnestrovian people are established community,” Vadim Krasnoselski said.
He reminded that one of the republic development concepts is to build a socially oriented state with a market economy, “i.e. the state works for the people." In addition, tourism is actively developing in the republic.
“The number of Pridnestrovian sites visited by tourists from far abroad is steadily increasing. All this has to be shown to the world community,” the President added.
According to him, one of the goals is to obtain a special status in the United Nations. It is also necessary to actively develop international contacts.
In order to increase its attractiveness, in 2018 Pridnestrovie took the initiative to solve the accumulated humanitarian issues with Moldova Republic.
“The negotiation process is underway. This is more than a dozen questions. Of course, there are certain problems, but this is a negotiation process, a compromise. And a compromise is a movement towards each other. And there is such movement. I hope that this movement will not stop. The most important goal is international recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which we have every right to, both legal and factual,” Vadim Krasnoselski concluded.
