THE PRESIDENT OF THE PMR SUPPORTED THE BILL OF REDUCTION OF NUMBER OF DEPUTIES

It is supposed that in case of its acceptance expenses on holding the Uniform voting day will be cut down approximately 20%

Tiraspol, March, 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovyа/. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the idea of reduction of deputy corps of Supreme and Local Council. The official conclusion of the Head of the state on a package of bills of 20 deputies is sent to parliament.  

«The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic conceptually supports the idea offered in these bills and believes possible their acceptance», - it is said in the document. 

The package of bills providing a change of numerical structure of Parliament and Local Councils of People's Deputies and also improvement of the scheme of formation of constituencies came to the Supreme Council at the end of February. 

The initiation of bills provides a reduction of the structure of parliament from 43 to 33 deputies. Local Councils of People's Deputies also can be reduced by 77 deputies. Authors of the bill assume that expenses on holding the Uniform voting day will be cut down approximately 20% (2 million rubles). The annual economy of budgetary funds and on holding a by-election will be at the same time provided.
