Tiraspol, January, 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On December 27, 2018 in the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow a performance of the Russian Children's Choir was held, which included more than five hundred young singers from all over the country.
It was the first time that among such huge number of talents there were vocalists from Pridnestrovie - ten students of the choral department of the Bendery Children's Art School. An invitation to perform on such a prestigious stage came to our republic from Pavel Pozhigailo, the executive director of the All-Russian Choral Society.
“You adequately presented Pridnestrovie at such a grand concert in the Kremlin Palace. In a short time, you managed to prepare a large number of works and join this large choir. Not all stars happen to perform on this stage, but our Pridnestrovian stars did it” - Maria Kyrmyz, head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the PMR said.
The head of department also stressed that that trip had been possible thanks to the support of the Russian State Duma deputies representing the interests of Pridnestrovie: Sergey Chizhov, Leonid Slutsky, Alexander Yaroshchuk, as well as the president of the Sozidaniye Foundation Olga Gukalenko, and the chairman of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank Vladislav Tidva.
It should be reminded that the Children's All-Russian Choir was founded in 2013. It consists of one thousand of the most talented children from all regions of Russia, with the conductor Valery Gergiev - People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. Participants are from 9 to 14 years old. All of them are professionally engaged in singing in their native cities. In 2014, the team participated in the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi.
At the main concert stage of Russia, young artists, accompanied by the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, performed for the fourth time. The program included songs of Soviet authors and classics: Bizet, Prokofiev, Glinka, Tchaikovsky.
“In three weeks we learned 16 pieces. Before the concert, rehearsals were being held for three days. There were a lot of them, they lasted for many hours, the works were hard, but the guys coped perfectly. Children were satisfied, and our entire delegation was satisfied with both the performance and the trip” - the head of the delegation, honored cultural worker of PMR, Irina Shikhanina said.
The guys shared their impressions of the trip today during a press conference. For example, many of them visited Moscow for the first time. Despite the cold weather, the capital of Russia met the children warmly. Pridnestrovian vocalists stayed in Cosmos hotel. In their free from rehearsals time, guys visited the Red Square.
At the end of the event, Maria Kyrmyz noted that it was the first collaboration with the choral society of Russia. According to her, negotiations are taking place to establish a branch of the All-Russian Choir Society in Pridnestrovie.
