Tiraspol, 31 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Presidential election in Pridnestrovie will be held on December 11, 2016. Election campaign will start on September 12. It was reported at the meeting of the Central Election Commission.
It was also talked about holding of repeat and occasional elections of village administrations' heads in CEC.
«Precinct election commissions are working on reconfirmation of lists now and send invitations to the voters in order that they took part in the elections. Video cameras are installed in the polling stations. Repeat elections will be held in 14 districts of 15. In 6 districts, there will be uncontested elections with only one registered candidate. Maximum number of candidates is registered in the Chobruchi village — 10 candidates," the chairman of the Pridnestrovie's Central Election Commission Elena Gorodetskaya explained.
