Supreme Council approves composition of parliamentary committees and commissions

Tiraspol, 28 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The 6th Supreme Council approved quantitative and personal composition of parliamentary committees and permanent commissions during its second plenary session. The committee on economic policy, budget and finance, headed by Alexander Martynov, includes Alexander Korshunov, Dmitry Ogirchuk, Porfiry Shkilnyuk, Peter Pasat, Vladislav Tidva and Alexander Shcherba. Peter Pasat, who will work on a permanent basis, has become the committee's deputy chairman.

The committee on entrepreneurship and industry, chaired by Vikto Guzun, includes Vadim Levitsky (deputy chairman), Vadim Doni (deputy chairman), Vadim Kravchuk and Andrey Mezhinsky.

The committee on social policy, labour and healthcare, led by Sergey Cheban, is composed of Ilya Vasilyev (deputy chairman) and Vladimir Pelin.

The committee on legislation, defence, security, peacekeeping affairs, law enforcement bodies, protection of civil rights and liberties, led by Galina Antyufeyeva, includes Grigory Dyachenko (deputy), Valery Babchinetsky (deputy), Oleg Petrik, Oleg Belyakov, Vadim Lipsky.

The agricultural committee, chaired by Efimy Koval, comprises Oleg Leontyev (deputy), Sergey Pisarenko, Tatyana Turanskaya, Igor Yarych.

The new committee on local government and public utilities, headed by Oleg Vasilaty, is composed of Anton Onufrienko (deputy), Yakov Galak, Valentin Matveychuk, Vasily Vlasov.

The committee on public organisations, sports, information and youth policy, chaired by Igor Buga, includes Andrey Safonov (deputy), Evgeny Gushan, Pavel Shinkaryuk (deputy).

The committee on education, science and culture, led by ex-speaker of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla, is composed of Oleg Khorzhan, Ilon Tyuryaeva, Andrey Sipchenko.

The permanent commission on mandates, regulation and deputy's ethics, chaired by Grigory Dyachenko, includes Oleg Petrik (deputy). Ilona Tyuryaeva, Valentin Matveychuk.

The permanent commission on foreign policy and international contacts is composed of committee chairpersons, as well as Igor Yarych, Pavel Shinkaryuk, Oleg Vasilaty, Oleg Belyakov, Petr Pasat, Alexander Korshunov, Grigory Dyachenko, Andrey Safonov. The commission is presided by Galina Antyufeyeva, Mikhail Burla and Vikto Guzun being her deputies.
