The parties discussed the current cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Lithuania
As the Foreign Ministry’s Press Service reports, during the meeting they also exchanged their ideas concerning the relations normalization between Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
«We have established good and open relations with Lithuania. We have held some cultural activities. Among them, there was an exhibition of the Lithuanian photo artists' works in Tiraspol which had a great success. We are ready to continue our cooperation in this sphere. We are also seeking the development of our trade and economic relations. The trade turnover was a little less than 30 million USD between the economic agents of Pridnestrovie and Lithuania for the last year," Nina Shtanski noted during the meeting.
During the conversation, Rimantas Latakas who visited Pridnestrovie for the first time was also interested in the current state of the negotiations between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Also, he asked about details of the current social and economic situation in Pridnestrovie.
