A delegation headed by the President visited the Central District Hospital of Kamenka. The hospital is a participant in the capital investment program. Funds from the Capital Investment Fund were allocated last year and this year. The building housing the emergency medical care department and the admissions department is being repaired. A covered access ramp has been built. Particular attention has been paid to ventilation: 1.1 million rubles were spent on its provision. 80% of the work has been completed. This year's work is planned to be completed by December 15. They stopped in the hall allocated for a small operating room while inspecting the premises. This facility is extremely important in emergency cases, when the condition of a patient admitted to the hospital is critical and surgical intervention is required immediately. The President was shown a new ramp, the need for which was insisted on by the medical staff. The chief physician of the central district hospital drew the attention of the President to the building of the infectious diseases department. The roof in this building is already new, and the windows need urgent replacement. Oleg Byrka spoke about the need to update the ambulance service fleet.
The head of the district Sergey Sokirka spoke about the existing problem with a large number of lonely elderly citizens who need special care. There are at least fifty of them in the district. The issue of creating a specialized institution is being discussed. The hospital building, which will be vacated at the beginning of next year, is being considered as an option for placement, said Minister of Healthcare Kristina Albul. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to carry out all the calculations and report on this proposal.
Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about other structural units of the medical institution. The State Institution Central District Hospital of Kamenka includes a 24-hour inpatient department with 85 hospital beds, a day hospital with 25 beds and an outpatient service, which includes medical outpatient clinics in the villages of Rashkovo, Kuzmin, Podoima, Khrustovaya, designed for 375 visits per day in total. Each rural medical outpatient clinic has day hospital beds. There are feldsher-midwife stations in ten other villages of the district. Emergency medical care is provided by medical and paramedic teams. The hospital has an admission, therapeutic, surgical, obstetric-gynecological, infectious diseases and pediatric departments. Six hospital beds have been allocated for the anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care departments. A day hospital on this site appeared in 2023. Funds have been allocated for the installation of ventilation in the feldsher-midwife station in the village of Yantarnoye this year. The total amount of funding from the Capital Investment Fund of the State Institution Central District Hospital of Kamenka for two years is 5.2 million rubles. The President was interested in staffing. The institution has enough junior medical personnel, but only 66% of the staff number of middle-level personnel. Physician staffing level: 79%.
