Tiraspol, December 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie had a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR Alexander Vataman, the press service of the PMR MFA reports.
Welcoming the guest, the Foreign Minister noted that the interaction with the Abkhaz side is systemic. Vitaly Ignatiev recalled that in December a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of healthcare, social development, and social protection was signed between Pridnestrovie and Apsny.
“The value in partners, allies, and friends, including in the fraternal republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, is of great importance to us,” the Minister said.
In turn, Alexander Vataman stressed that the tasks set this year have been solved. Practical work within the framework of the Memorandum will begin soon.
In their further discussion, the diplomats spoke about several current issues in the context of bilateral relations between Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia, as well as promising areas of bilateral cooperation in the coming year.
At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to maintain working contact on the entire spectrum of topical issues.
