The Dniester Dawns health complex has been functioning for more than a quarter of a century. The object is located in the Mereneshty forest. It occupies almost fifty hectares on the banks of the Dniester. It is widely known as a summer recreation center for children and youth. All-season sanatorium activities are also in demand. Every year the health resort-camp is visited by thousands of children and vacationers in need of recovery – these are veterans, people with special needs, combatants. There are conditions for gathering a large number of participants at any time of the year, gatherings and festivals are held there.
The impetus for the development of the organization was given by the transfer of the facility to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. This decision was made by the President in 2018. Funds were allocated from the state Capital Investment Fund and by means of the ministry to put the infrastructure in order. Several dormitory buildings and cottages were overhauled, gas equipment in the dining room was replaced, an idle one was launched and an additional mineral water well was drilled, an outdoor pool was restored, inventory was updated. The transformation and improvement of the complex continues. The next step was the unification of three infrastructure units – a polyclinic, a hydropathic clinic and the administration of the institution – in one building. This location is more comfortable for visitors and staff. Today, the reconstructed building was officially put into operation. The PMR President was invited to the solemn event on this occasion.
Before the traditional ceremony of cutting the red ribbon, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the health resort had fallen into a deplorable state by 2016. There was a great risk of losing the socially significant object. The team at that time did not receive wages. Reception of visitors was closed. The President expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defense for giving the institution a new life, noting that with the support of the state, the development of the health complex continues. Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked everyone who was involved in the repair and construction work, presenting the most distinguished Diplomas of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary consecrated the renovated social facility. The participants of the event examined the reconstructed buildings. They paid attention to the transitions connecting them, which increased the area of the premises. A hall will be equipped here – a cozy and comfortable waiting and leisure area. Furniture and equipment were purchased. Looking around the treatment sector, Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the swimming pool for physiotherapy exercises and bowls with mineral water. The complex has a steam room. There is a salt room. The President asked about the heating of the institution. All buildings are provided with heat and hot water by seven boiler houses. Discussing future plans, they talked about children's health improvement development. Attention should be paid to the improvement of the territory of the complex.
