Tiraspol, October 19 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol is transforming and becoming a tourist center. A whole section in the PMR Development Strategy is devoted to the comfortable urban environment creation. There are further plans for the town's improvement and development.
Currently, in the Tiraspol center, a new building is being prepared for opening. It includes a residential complex and a shopping gallery occupying the whole quarter. The building stands at the so-called hundred meters place, which is located along 25 October Street.
According to Gennady Gorokh, a hundred meters eventually became an emergency place, that’s why it was decided to demolish it. Initially, the central street reconstruction has proved contentious, but currently, this place is very popular with selfie lovers.
“At that moment when a new building has appeared, many people have changed their minds, because the building is very prominent, it produces a lot of light. I strongly believe that it has become a stylish decoration of the central town’s part,” the state administration deputy head noted.
Other buildings in the center will also be beaten into shape.
“Old buildings will be put in order by modern norms as well as requirements, but without compromising the historical town’s value. However, in a place of buildings, which are in an emergency condition, we will build new ones to create all conditions for comfortable living,” Gennady Gorokh emphasized, adding that attention will be paid to other areas as well.
One of such places, which is already being transformed, is the multifunctional stadium of school No.18, which is located in the Oktyabrsky micro-district. By the end of the year, behind the location with exercise equipment, it’s planned to establish a park area as well as a children’s playground.
“A leisure segment will be created in each district, where it will be convenient for every citizen,” the state administration deputy head noted.
Urban transformations will also affect transport accessibility. Tiraspol is planning to upgrade its public transport park next year. Particularly, the option of electric buses purchasing is being considered.
“The new transport will allow us to encompass not only the town’s passenger traffic but also the nearest villages one,” the deputy head of the town mayor.
Gennady Gorokh assured that the town is ready to accept the predictable tourist inflows and provide all conditions for their comfortable presence.
“We have something to offer: it’s a peculiar local charm and culture, beautiful nature. Our hospitality will be appreciated at its true worth,” the state administration deputy head for housing and communal services expresses his confidence.
