According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 1797 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 834 of them are being treated in specialized hospitals. There are 259 hospital beds (86%) in the Slobodzeya hospital, 196 (93%) the hospital of Rybnitsa, 110 (73%) in the Dubossary hospital, 116 (89%) in the hospital of Bendery, the Tiraspol hospital based on the RCH - 153 (85% ). The total workload of the Pridnestrovian hospital network is 86%. 220 people - 26% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment are hard to tolerate the coronavirus, 21 are patients in intensive care units, six are connected to artificial lung ventilations devices. 963 Pridnestrovians are being treated at home. 78 such patients needed hospitalization from 20 to 26 September.
5460 samples of biomaterial of citizens with suspected infection were examined during the week (280959 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 1212 cases. The average daily incidence is 173 (a week earlier - 127). Totally, 55169 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1326 carriers of the virus or 2.4% of cases died (nineteen deaths during the week), 52046 people - 94% of those infected - coped with the disease (588 recovered during the reporting week).
At the moment, two secondary schools and 130 classes in 47 institutions of secondary education, as well as 22 groups in 16 kindergartens, have been quarantined.
1568 Pridnestrovians underwent a full course of vaccination from 20 to 26 September. In total, 98983 people, or 25.9% of the adult population, were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic.
