The country's leadership visited memorable places for Bendery residents

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the First President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the heads of the legislative and executive branches of power, the ministries of the power department, the administration of Bendery visited memorable places telling about the creation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, including the tragic facts of the history of our state on the Day of the Bendery tragedy according to established tradition. Flowers lay at a memorial sign erected in 2010 near the railway line in honor of women defenders – activists of the strike committee, known as participants in the "rail war".

Scarlet carnations revived today the stone slab at the sign installed in the chapel on Gregory Echin Street in memory of the tragic events of April 1, 1992. The President visited the Cossack Cross, which reminds us that on the night of June 20, 1992, the Cossacks who defended the Pridnestrovians were killed at its location (the intersection of the streets of Bendery Suvorov and Lenin). The presidential wreath as a symbol of eternal memory and gratitude of descendants is also lowered to the stele of the "City of Military Glory" complex.
