Pre-pandemic boundary crossing regime extended until 1st of July

This is due to a COVID-19 prevalence rates’ decrease in PMR

Tiraspol, May 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Considering the coronavirus incidence rates gradually decreasing in the republic, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky contemplates possibility of prolonging a pre-pandemic the Pridnestrovian boundary crossing regime for a month.

Further decisions will depend on the COVID-19 situation development, the head of state wrote in his Telegram channel.

Previously, on Vadim Krasnoselsky initiative, it was allowed to cross the PMR border without the Operational Headquarters decision as well as PCR tests. This new norm is effective through June 1.
