Pridnestrovian tourists visited Bouquet of Moldavia plant

Guests also tasted all-new products that have not yet been put on sale

Dubossary, April 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Bouquet of Moldavia plant in Dubossary is included in the agricultural tourist route of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It was visited by guests from Tiraspol and Bendery.

Bouquet of Moldavia has a rich history. It produces world-famous products. More than 60 types of flavored and sparkling wines, vermouths, nastoikas, liqueurs, brandy and divins made using original recipes. 

Technologists and managers of the plant showed tourists an experimental site on the territory of the enterprise, where samples of raw materials grow: grapes and aromatic shrubs, herbs used in production. The guests also visited the workshops where the products are prepared and stored. They visited the aromatherapy room and the museum, which contains a unique collection of photographs, documents and achievements of the Dubossary plant. The Bouquet of Moldavia will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2024.

“The line of our plant is huge: starting from still wines, dry vermouths, sparkling wines. Sparkling wines is our new product. There are also liqueurs, nastoikas. Only our company is a manufacturer of special vodka prepared from natural ingredients: pepper root, plum, horseradish. We are also a manufacturer of herbal teas," Natalia Medvedeva, Manager of the Bouquet of Moldavia plant said. For their guests, the company specialists held a tasting session of both well-known drinks and new products that have not yet been put on sale.

 

“I am very pleased with this excursion. This is a new meeting with good old acquaintances. I was born and raised in Bendery. I have lived on the territory of the PMR all my life, and I enjoy visiting our republic`s enterprises. We have got something worth looking at; it is very interesting to see it changing and at the same time skillfully preserving past gains. Technologies are being improved, equipment is changing, yet this delectable flavor of products that are well-known from the Soviet times remains,” Nadezhda from Bendery said. 

Tourists also visited the vineyards of the plant and the Dubossary HPS.
