Tiraspol, March 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR Foreign Affairs Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Thomas Mayr-Harting in the video conference format. According the PMR Foreign Ministry, the head of the OSCE Mission at Moldova Claus Neukirch also took part in the discussion.
The parties exchanged opinions on the current situation in the dialogue between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, with a special emphasis on motor transport problematic. In this context the unacceptability of any restrictive measures implementation, which is leading to living conditions deterioration of Pridnestrovian citizens on the part of individual participants in the negotiation process was emphasized.
In speaking of this year prospects of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian interrelationships’ settlement, diplomats discussed the available possibilities for activating the existing negotiating mechanisms’ work, including holding the Permanent Council...regular meeting in the 5+2 format.
The special representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office also told the Foreign Minister about results of his working visits to the mediating states’ capitals in the negotiation process – Moscow and Kiev.
Certain aspects related to the current epidemiological situation as well as possible international parties supporting for the rapid situation’s normalization were also discussed by diplomats.
In conclusion of the conversation, interlocutors stipulated to continue a regular systematic dialogue across the whole of the spectrum of actual cooperation directions.
