The branch of the Republican Charitable Foundation "World of Equal Opportunities" "Invapansport" is a modern sports rehabilitation center for people with special needs. The history of the Center began about 18 years ago, when a group of people from Bendery, united by a common problem (violation of the musculoskeletal system), created the Pan club. Until February 2019, the organization was located in the basement of a residential building. Last winter, at the initiative of the President and with the support of the city administration, the Center got four spacious halls, fully adapted to the needs of people with special needs. 14 people were engaged before moving to the new premises, today 42 are training. At the request of the club's management, the President instructed the Head of the State Administration of Bendery to expand the training areas. More than eight hundred thousand rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund. The repair work has been completed, the equipment has been purchased and installed - today, two more specialized premises were inaugurated at the Center for Adaptive Sports. The President took part in the ceremony.
Addressing those present at the event, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the start of transformations in the social sphere, and in particular in the development of an adaptive environment for people with special needs, was given in 2018, which was declared the Year of Equal Opportunities in Pridnestrovie. Work in this direction continues. Over the past three years, the state has invested heavily in the development of social infrastructure. The President congratulated the management and pupils of the Center on the next housewarming and expressed confidence that all conditions for comfortable sports, self-development, and health promotion have been created in the center.
Special words of gratitude from the country's leadership are addressed to Dmitry Kuzuk, Director of the Republican Charitable Foundation “World of Equal Opportunities”. Vadim Krasnoselsky presented him with the jubilee medal "30 years of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" for high professionalism and in connection with the 30th anniversary of the founding of the republic.
The Center cultivates numerous sports. Para-athletes "Invapansport" - participants and prize-winners of the republican championships in table tennis, bocce, athletics. The future plans of the club are to create a platform for the development of another Paralympic discipline - bullet shooting. For these purposes, it is planned to improve the patio, said Dmitry Kuzuk. They also talked about the urgent need to equip a specialized public transport stop for people with disabilities near the Center.
