Tiraspol, November 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Political instability in Moldova amends the negotiation process. This was announced on the TSV TV Channel by the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselskiy.
“When in the state three governments have changed in a year, it’s very bad. These are new people, officials, negotiators. In this regard, it is very difficult for us to maneuver, to have time to agree with someone”, the Head of the state told.
The President said that this issue was discussed during a meeting with the current head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch. According to Vadim Krasnoselskiy, it is important to develop a mechanism that, regardless of the situation in the neighboring country, will allow maintaining a dialogue within the framework of the negotiation process effectively.
“We need to develop immunity from political instability in Moldova and conduct political dialogue, hearings in the 5 + 2 format regardless of electoral trends in Moldova. They won't end in the near term. There are societal divisions. It is necessary to accept it as an axiom and to act in these conditions”, the President said.
At the same time, Vladimir Krasnoselskiy emphasized that in today's conditions the 5 + 2 format takes on special importance.
“In no case, the negotiation process should be stagnated or be localized or be destructed. Although such movements take place, and I see them. I am working with all guarantors, mediators, observers to prevent, first, the destruction of the 5 + 2 format, and, second, to make all parties of the negotiation process commit themselves to the implementation of earlier agreements. We have many new agreements on the agenda, but it is necessary to fulfil the old ones”, the Head of the state said.
The President stressed that Pridnestrovie was fulfilling its obligations, while to the Moldovan side there were many questions.
“Non-fulfillment of the agreements is related to electoral processes. For us it is not a justifying argument, it is necessary to work, to go forward. If Moldova cannot do this, the guarantors, mediators, observers have to take a decision on the fulfilment of obligations”, the Head of the state concluded.
