The President congratulated the state security service employees on the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the department

The PMR State Security Service turned 32 years old on the 1st of January. Solemn meeting dedicated to this date took place today. The leadership, veterans and personnel were congratulated by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The head of the department recalled that the service was called differently at different times, and has had its current name since the beginning of 2018. Vitaly Melenchuk spoke about the development of the state security service, continuity and the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of security. Veterans of the service, as well as employees who participated in hostilities to defend the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, were not left without attention. According to Vitaly Melenchuk, about a hundred PMR defenders served in the department at various times. The memory of those who passed away was honored with a minute of silence.

The importance of the activities of the state security service was spoken about in a welcoming and congratulatory speech by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. The President emphasized the special functions of the service, noting that the state security service is an important component of the security and law enforcement system. The President noted the high professionalism of the state security service personnel, congratulated on the departmental holiday and wished further success for the benefit of the Pridnestrovian people.

The most distinguished employees of the State Security Service of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were awarded new military ranks.
