The President held a video conference

The President in the course of the video conference was informed by the heads of state administrations of towns and regions of the republic about the receipt of revenues in local budgets and the current expenditure of funds. Social obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner. The year is closed without debts to citizens.

The speakers spoke about socially significant, sports, cultural and public events that took place last week, including New Year ones. Presidential Christmas trees have started all over the republic. They will be continued by events held under the auspices of heads of state administrations.

Oleg Dovgopol reported that it was possible with the assistance of the Presidential Administration to quickly solve the problem of restoring the roof of an apartment building in Hristo Botev Street, which burned down as a result of a fire. The report contained information about the almost complete readiness for use of the new solid waste landfill. The landfill of Bendery will be used until the end of the year. Both cities plan to transport waste to a new specially prepared site starting from January. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded of the need to promptly reclaim the old site. Victor Tyagai said in turn that in the Rybnitsa region a program is being implemented to create well-equipped sites for centralized collection of solid household waste in rural areas.

Information announced by the head of Bendery: the number of citizens’ appeals to the state administration has doubled since 2018. Roman Ivanchenko said that meetings were held with representatives of sports schools and club institutions last week. It turned out that the city needed space to hold events with a large number of participants and spectators. There is an idea to create such a facility on the basis of a former cannery. The place is well known to city residents: it previously housed a basketball center.

The head of state administration of Dubossary Ruslan Chaban reported that 12 apartment buildings were renovated in the town during the year.

The President thanked the heads and teams of state administrations for their work and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year.
