The most worthy citizens were awarded state awards on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic

Solemn ceremony of presenting state awards was held in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic on the eve of the main state holiday. The first persons of the country presented 45 orders and four dozen titles to the most worthy Pridnestrovians on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the participants of the ceremony and in their person the entire Pridnestrovian people on the upcoming Day of the Republic. The President noted the merits of citizens awarded state awards.

Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the prerequisites and history of the creation of the republic, the formation of statehood, the development of Pridnestrovie, spoke about the current realities of the country, which has approached its 33rd anniversary. The President focused on the fact that at one time the Pridnestrovian people openly and boldly spoke out in referendums in favor of "living with their families, preserving their language, their customs, their traditions, their religious visions". He emphasized that to there is no national strife among Pridnestrovians this day, noting that this fact is an important achievement. “The Pridnestrovian state is people who work, create, heal, teach, protect, defend - live and want to live here, thinking and speaking their own language,” the PMR President said. “There are recognized states, but failed ones. We have an unrecognized, but held – thanks to the Pridnestrovian people," the PMR President summed up. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to those awarded for their work, professionalism, and contribution to the development of the country.
