Tiraspol, June 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In Pridnestrovie, administrative responsibility is introduced for those who throw garbage from vehicles, trailers, motoblocks and motor cultivators along roads and outside settlements. Garbage in this case refers to production and consumption waste, as well as goods and products that have lost their consumer properties.
The Supreme Council of the PMR today supported the corresponding initiative of the Government in the second, final reading. Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses will come into force 14 days after being signed by the head of state and officially published, the press service of the SC reports.
Violators will face a fine: from 368 to 920 rubles for citizens, from 920 to 1,472 - for officials, for legal entities - from 4,600 to 6,400 rubles.
For a repeated violation, the fine will be higher: for citizens - up to 1,840 rubles, for officials - up to 2,760, and for legal entities - up to 7,360.
“Recently, there have been more cases of unauthorized landfills being created. That is, people loaded their car or trailer and took out the garbage outside the city, dumped it in a place not equipped for this. Therefore, in the Government they have prepared an appropriate initiative by analogy with the norm that exists in the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The fines are quite high. We would ask citizens not to violate the law and throw garbage in specially equipped locations,” Galina Antyufeeva, Chairwoman of the Committee on Legislation and Protection of Citizens’ Rights, Vice Speaker of the Supreme Council, commented.
Employees of the internal affairs bodies will draw up administrative protocols on such an offense, while administrative commissions under city and district state administrations and administrations of villages (settlements) will consider them and decide on the imposition of administrative penalties.
