Tiraspol, March 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. An athlete from Pridnestrovie Alexey Korovashkov won a prize at the All-Russian kayaking and canoeing competitions. Competitions were held in Krasnodar.
After qualifying races at 250 and 2000 m distances, strongmen continued to fight in the All-Russian competitions at 500 and 1000 m distances.
According to Radio 1, canoeist Alexey Korovashkov won bronze in the sprint. Oleg Shurinkin lost him by one second (4th place).
It is the first time that Arkady Goncharov from Bendery took part in the Russian Championship. He has been training with Vladimir Bespalov, a specialist from Tiraspol, and has been playing for the Moscow team since this year.
Kirill Shamshurin turned to coaching. He is training canoeists in the junior national team of the Russian Federation.
