The President held a meeting of the relevant Operational Headquarters in connection with the complicated epidemiological situation. Chief sanitary doctor Natalya Beril said that an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 was recorded for the third week in a row. 132449 cases of infection have been laboratory detected for the entire period of the coronavirus pandemic in Pridnestrovie. 57 out of 350 PCR tests were positive on Saturday. 678 Pridnestrovians in total suffer from coronavirus today. A significant proportion of patients are treated at home. Three medical institutions have deployed 127 beds for inpatient treatment of coronavirus carriers. 108 people have been hospitalized at the moment, said the Head of the Operational Headquarters Vitaly Neagu: 103 patients in Slobodzeya, three in Rybnitsa, two in Kamenka. 18 patients have pneumonia, the same number are seriously ill patients. 12 children are among the hospitalized. The average daily incidence last week was 88 people, 60a week earlier. 378 people coped with COVID-19, six carriers of the infectious disease died from February 6 to February 12. About a third of the adult population has been vaccinated against the coronavirus. There are enough medicines for the treatment and prevention of coronavirus and its consequences in medical institutions, Christina Albul informed. The consumption of medical oxygen last week amounted to 128 cylinders. This is the norm. There is no shortage. Measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection were strengthened.
