Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the personnel of one of the capital's military units on the day of the celebration of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The servicemen of this unit have a double holiday today. They celebrated the 31st anniversary of the creation of the Pridnestrovian army in renovated caserns. The two-storey building has been extensively renovated. A solemn ceremony of putting the object into operation took place today. It was said at the event that improving the conditions of service, improving the material and technical base of the armed forces is one of the important directions of the internal policy of Pridnestrovie. More than a dozen objects have been brought into proper form over a few years. Funds were allocated from the state budget within the framework of the fund program and through the defense department. Work in this direction will continue until each military unit and institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense do not infrastructurally correspond to their important purpose. Examining the renovated, furnished and equipped caserns, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the army educates men, trains the defenders of the Motherland, and the conditions for serving must be appropriate. An interesting detail: the beds were not ordered, they were made by the servicemen themselves from materials purchased by the ministry. Improvement will continue. For example, blinds will help create a cozier and more comfortable atmosphere in the sleeping quarters. They will be installed on the windows in the near future, the Minister of Defense told the President.
The interlocutors discussing future plans mentioned the construction of new buildings of the Military Institute of the PMR Ministry of Defense. All locations of the educational institution will be compactly located in the central part of the capital upon completion of the work. A stage-by-stage reconstruction of the "Dnestrovskye Zori" (Dniester Dawns) health-improving complex, transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense, is also underway. A lot has already been done with the forces and means of the department with the support of the state. About two thousand Pridnestrovian children rested in the camp during the season. In addition, up to a thousand people – mostly representatives of privileged categories of citizens, including those in need of post-pandemic rehabilitation – annually undergo a course of sanatorium-resort rehabilitation in the "Dnestrovskye Zori" (Dniester Dawns) complex. The renovated and equipped building of the polyclinic will be put into operation literally in a month. Vadim Krasnoselsky was invited to the opening.
