The President recognized the work of the PMR Ministry of State Security as satisfactory

The PMR Ministry of State Security held a board meeting. The event was summary, the reporting period – 2021. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the work.

The Minister of State Security reported on the progress and results of the operational activities of the departments. Valery Gebos paid attention to improving the legislative framework, spoke about measures aimed at improving the infrastructure and checkpoints across the State Border of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, spoke about improving the professional and ethical culture of military personnel providing border control.

According to the speaker, almost seven million citizens crossed the state border of the PMR through information systems in 2021. The illegal activities of 617 violators were stopped, 765 administrative and 8 criminal cases were initiated during the reporting period. 339 wanted persons were detained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The meeting participants discussed not only the results of the past year and current issues, but also outlined plans for the future.

The President called the activity of the Ministry of State Security of the PMR following the results of 2021 satisfactory. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to the employees of the state security bodies for their service and aimed at further effective work, the main goal of which is to ensure the security of the country and each of its citizens.
