Vadim Krasnoselsky denied information on the Pridnestrovian border crossing by the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

"I ask you only to take into account and react accordingly to the information provided in official sources," the President of the PMR urged

Against the background of the situation in neighboring Ukraine, citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic began to receive phone calls from unidentified numbers with messages that the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crossed the border of the PMR. Unknown persons introduce themselves as employees of the Administration of the PMR President, recommend citizens to take the necessary documents and go to the central square of Tiraspol, from where mass evacuation of the city's residents will be carried out supposedly.

Such statements and actions do not correspond to reality, have no basis and are provocation. The situation in the republic at the moment remains stable and controlled.

I emphasize once again: Pridnestrovie has never planned and does not plan any actions of an aggressive nature in relation to our neighbors.

I watch with alarm and regret the events taking place in Ukraine.

Pridnestrovie is still open and continues to provide assistance and support to Ukrainian residents in need of help, who due to a tragic set of circumstances are forced to leave their homeland.

I urge once again everyone to be calm and ask you to take note and respond appropriately only to the information provided in official sources.
