Current issues were discussed in the course of the meeting under the President with participation of the PMR President and self-government bodies. Particular attention was paid to readiness for special weather conditions inherent in the winter period. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that precipitation this year was not a surprise, the work of services should be planned, not emergency. Instructions were given to monitor the condition of the most problematic road sections.
The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Neagu informed that 473 employees of housing and communal services and 54 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of snowfall and icy conditions. 826 kg of a special sand and salt mixture were used. About two dozen accidents associated with icy condition of roads were recorded. 37 people turned to emergency rooms for medical help. Rescue teams went out for calls six times.
