Tiraspol, October 21 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Two boxers from Tiraspol fight for the European Youth Championships medals (in the age category from 17 to 18 years old) in Montenegro. Nikolay Burduzha proceeded to the semi-finals. The Pridnestrovian superheavyweight fighter (over 92 kg) confidently defeated his Hungarian opponent Bogdalin Benz in the starting match. In the semifinals, Nikolai Burduzha will meet German boxer Nikolay Putilov.
Previously, Christina Kiper got the right to fight for a place in the European Championships semifinals. In the weight category up to 60 kg, the athlete proved to be stronger than the Italian national team representative Charlotte Abbate. In the semifinals, Christina Kiper will fight with Elida Kocharyan from Armenia.
The European Youth Boxing Championships takes place in Montenegro in the period from 15 to 23 October. About 340 boxers from 38 countries take part in the competition.
