Presidential visit: opening of feldsher-obstetric center in the village of Gidirim

The feldsher-obstetric center of the village of Gidirim, Rybnitsa region, was still located in a building built more than two hundred years ago. It has a rich history: once Pan Rybkovsky lived within these walls, then a state councilor Monvizh Motvidu, then a border post was located, even later a maternity hospital, since 1949 there was a medical center. All this was told today to President Vadim Krasnoselsky. He visited the village on the occasion of the opening of a new medical facility.

In the neighborhood of an inconveniently located – on a hill and far from the road – an old two-story house was erected a modern modular-type feldsher-obstetric station. Considering that Gidirim is a rather large village (population – 1147 people), the option of a more spacious module than in other villages was chosen. The state allocated 230 thousand rubles under the capital investment program. There are several rooms in the feldsher-obstetric station. The staff includes a manager, a patronage nurse and a nurse. They thought out a ramp during the construction of the facility, more precisely, a spacious entrance for wheelchair users, parents with strollers, hospital wheelchairs. There is also a pharmacy at the medical facility.

Addressing the residents of the village of Gidirim, Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated them on the opening of new medical facility, wishing to contact the doctors more for a preventive purpose, so as not to start disease. The President spoke about the importance of developing rural infrastructure in general and medical infrastructure in particular. He assured that the network of rural feldsher-obstetric points and outpatient clinics will grow. The PMR President focused on the issue of staffing medical institutions. He asked if the villagers were satisfied with their doctors. The President was told that the chief and the patronage nurse have been treating the local population in tandem for 36 years. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the topic of the pandemic, urging villagers not to neglect protective equipment and to be attentive to their state of health, especially since now all conditions have been created for timely seeking medical help.
