According to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 417 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 135 of them are treated at home, 282 - in infectious diseases hospitals, the workload of which is 67%. Due to the deteriorating state of health in the period from the 26th of July to the 1st of August 32 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment. The coronavirus is difficult for 44 people or 17% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment, 8 are patients in intensive care units, one is connected to artificial lung ventilation. 209 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
3053 samples of biomaterials from citizens with suspected infection were examined during the week (251046 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 297 cases. The average daily incidence is 42 cases. 50947 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie totally during the coronavirus pandemic. 1246 carriers of the virus, 2.4% of cases died (4 deaths per week), 49284 people, 97% of those infected coped with the disease (235 recovered during the reporting period).
41666 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the Sputnik V first component, 39547 people received both doses of this vaccine. 6733 people have passed the first stage of vaccination with the AstraZeneca, 5040 - completed the course. 7375 residents of the republic were vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer, 6269 - completed vaccination. 11917 people received the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine, 8940 people received both doses of this vaccine, 7407 people underwent the first stage of vaccination with Sinovac, 6546 completed the course. 4907 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the Janssen vaccine. Thus, 71249 Pridnestrovians have completed the full course of vaccination to date.
