The President with his wife took part in the ceremony honoring married couples celebrating this year's diamond and gold weddings. The celebration was organized within the framework of the festive program "Family – magic symbol of life". The event takes place on the open stage of the Catherine Park in Tiraspol.
Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated all Pridnestrovians on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, recalling that this holiday is traditional for residents of the republic, and therefore especially significant. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that their family will celebrate their 30th anniversary after a month. They meet this date with three children and two grandchildren.
Svetlana Krasnoselskaya supported her husband that the celebration of Family Day is a tribute to true values and primordial traditions.
The President with his wife presented flowers and gifts to the couple celebrating the 60th anniversary of their marriage. Gregory and Anna Kucherenko are celebrating the so-called diamond wedding. The golden heroes of the day – Adam and Elena Vasilikhe (half a century together) also received congratulations. According to modern Russian traditions, families created more than a quarter of a century ago are awarded medals "For Love and Loyalty" on the 8th of July. This has been practiced in Pridnestrovie since 2011. Today such awards were received by the spouses Kosinsky and Lysenko.
The festive evening was continued by a concert program.
