On June 8, this year's first meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on Medicines Import was held in a videoconference mode.
During the meeting, parties exchanged views on the parameters for maintaining state registers of medical products admitted to circulation on the markets of the parties, as well as on the current rules for the import of such products.
The Pridnestrovian side noted the fact that the system of control over imported medicines functioning in Pridnestrovie ensures an appropriate level of safety for drugs put into circulation, for their adequate quality and their availability for the Pridnestrovian population. Interlocutors touched upon specific problems that arose during the import of certain categories of drugs into Pridnestrovie and identified possibilities for their elimination.
The sides agreed to continue searching for viable options aimed at ensuring stable imports of all necessary medicines to Pridnestrovie.
