According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 1110 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 429 of them are being treated at home, 591 – in infectious diseases hospitals, there are six currently functioning hospitals. The hospital network load is 31%. In the period from 6 to 12 May 98 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to their health deterioration. It is hard to bear the disease for 156 people, or 26% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment, 32 are patients in intensive care units, two are connected to artificial ventilation devices. 90 sick people are citizens in places of deprivation of liberty. 55 people are waiting in hospital conditions to receive the results of the study of biomaterial samples. 433 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
3392 samples were examined during the week (216123 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 545 cases. 78 cases is the average daily incidence. 48498 cases of COVID-19 infection in total were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1152 carriers of the virus (2.4% of cases) died, 46236 people (95%) coped with the disease.
2597 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the “AstraZeneca” vaccine, 3247 with the “Sputnik V” first component.
