The President held a regular meeting dedicated to the creation of the Republican Museum of Local History that will be located in the central part of Tiraspol and will unite different milestones in the history of the city and the state. The working meeting was organized at the site of the future complex - they walked through the locations, talking over new functionality. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is important to understand exactly what and where will be located in order to plan the upcoming expenses as accurately as possible. Specialists and officials involved in the implementation of the large-scale project carried out preliminary work to assess the condition and historical value of the buildings that will be used for exposition placement.
We are talking about five buildings that are now under the jurisdiction of the Tiraspol United Museum and the Ministry of Defense. All of them are recognized as historical, therefore they will be preserved (with the exception of more modern extensions and inappropriate design elements). The President examined every point of the future museum route. The meeting participants exchanged ideas and suggestions. A visualized project is being prepared indicating the subject matter of the expositions and the format of the design of the museum sectors on the instructions of the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that such periods and events as the Chernobyl tragedy, the Afghan war and even the coronavirus pandemic, which sooner or later will go down in history, but will forever remain in the memory of Pridnestrovians as a test that took many lives and revealed the heroes of its time.
