School Spring Holydays officially ends on Monday. The President held a meeting, in the course of which the format for organizing the upcoming educational process was discussed. The President invited the leaders of the PMR Government, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, as well as the chief sanitary doctor of the republic to participate in the discussion. It was decided after discussing the epidemiological situation in the country as a whole, the current state of affairs with morbidity among children and employees of educational institutions, exchange of views and suggestions to resume the full-time educational process only in small schools, the number of students of which does not exceed 200 people from March 29. Educational process for all students will be organized remotely in other secondary educational institutions. As for the social institutions of the correctional profile, in which children not only study, but also live, then a separate decision will be made for each.
The issue of the upcoming final certification was discussed in the course of the meeting. The President considers it appropriate in the current circumstances to use the practice of the previous year. The current progression of schoolchildren will be taken as a basis. Graduates will also receive annual grades without the unified state examination. The Ministry of Education has been instructed to prepare an appropriate regulatory and legal framework.
