Dnestrovsk, February 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last year, Moldavskaya GRES increased its electric power generation by 10%: 4.688 billion kWh versus 4.243 in 2019. The General Director of the enterprise Valentin Trubchanin told about this at a press conference. The growth is associated with an increase in export and partly domestic supply, namely for MMP.
The installed capacity utilization factor has also increased, reaching 21%. As a comparison, MGRES operated at 19.22% of its capacity in 2019.
The enterprise has invested about 56 million rubles in fixed capital. Of the repair work, one of the major projects was the modernization of the switch panel for power unit No. 11. It is also called the heart of the station. Here they monitor the operation of the main technological equipment: boilers, turbines and generators.
“Here we use modern technologies. Everything is operated through a computer. Previously, the control system consisted of operating keys, when the engine driver had to adjust something, looking at the instruments. Now there is a complete display of information - all control points are in front of your eyes. The engine driver, having chosen any technological scheme, can see how the system works - properly/improperly, and readjust it,” the Technical Director of the enterprise Alexey Bukhankin said.
The switch panel of power unit No. 12 is expected to have the same modernization, but next year. It is now analogous, not digital, and one can see the difference by the naked eye.
Coronavirus pandemic. It was also discussed at a meeting with journalists. At its height from March to June and from October to December - certain employees were taken out of service. At the same time, no less than 2/3 of the salary was paid (in general, the entire team was given a raise by 6.5% last year).
MGRES spent about 330 thousand rubles on preventive anti-coronavirus measures: organizing sanitation, installation of thermal cameras, etc. Compliance with all prescribed quarantine measures made it possible to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers during the pandemic and fulfill contractual obligations.
