Coronavirus statistics of PMR

8299 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie, according to the information announced in the course of the meeting today. 1607 citizens with confirmed coronavirus disease are being treated in specialized hospitals. Level II hospital network workload is 70%. 28 patients are in critical condition in intensive care, three of them are connected to lung ventilation. 169 people are awaiting the results of PCR testing in hospitals. 67195 samples were taken for analysis totally during the pandemic. 182 carriers of the virus did not cope with the disease (COVID mortality rate is 2,2%). 5748 Pridnestrovians recovered (69% of the total number of cases). 1820 citizens are on a two-week self-isolation at the place of residence. The President noted that the incidence rate is increasing - 140-150 detected cases per day, which means that the burden on the Ministry of Health is significantly increasing. The bed capacity of coronavirus hospitals is being expanded as needed.
